AFFILIATE MEMBER (ANCP)

 

This is a category of membership for people who are presently employed as counsellors/therapists or are self-employed counsellors/therapists; or practise "minor" styles of therapy, but would not qualify, or wish, to become Licentiate or Full members of the National Council of Psychotherapists.

Applicants for Affiliate status must either have a minimum of three years experience within the field of counselling/therapy and/or be a graduate of an NCP Affiliate accredited course and may, over time apply to upgrade to Licentiate status within the Council.

Alternatively, students of a National Council Accredited Course are eligible for Associate (Student) Membership.

Associate Members who choose to apply for Membership upon completion of their course do not pay the Application Fee.

 

Since 2000, all Membership Fees, of whatever grade,  MUST be paid via an

Annual Bank Standing Order Mandate.
